Formula for calculating hourly attendance with an electronic turnstile?

What is the formula for calculating turnstile reports at an amusement park (Disney, Six Flags, etc)? I know most parks only reset the numbers for each new operating year, so if your numbers for, say, 3-4 PM on any given day is 967500 culminatively, how do you determine hourly visits for that particular day/ride cycles for the hour? What do you divide that large culminative number by?
