MAILER-DAEMON message, what am I doing wrong?

I keep trying to send an email and every time I do I get the MAILER-DAEMON message. What could I be doing wrong? I know I have the address right (I'm trying to reply to someone). I've tried replying and sending separate messages and I keep getting this. Help!
