Why are some websites saying me email is invalid?

Some websites I've used my yahoo email to register on have been saying that my email is invalid off and on. I'm able to reconfirm it, but it eventually happens again. I've tried emailing it from a different account and have received mailer daemon messages sporadically from doing that. Is this a yahoo problem or is there anything else that I can do to fix this?
