It is it ok to take a pre-workout supplement and then a post workout supplement if I'm a cyclist?
I do about 45 minutes every day on a trainer resistance unit with my bike in my room and I have heard that pre workout supplements can boost energy levels through high carbohydrates. I was thinking of taking a pre workout formula called "driven" but I saw that it has 1000mg of glutamine which is used to repair muscles. I am also considering taking endurox as a recovery supplement after my workout . Is this too much? I'm pretty sure recovery formulas are high in glutamine, could I take too much glutamine? My main goal here is to build lean muscle, increase my lactate threshold and lose any unecessary fat. I am already relatively slim. Is this a good combo?
