Is it true that brain imaging (3-D scans) can detect disorders like ADD/ADHD; Depression; Bipolar Disorder;?

Actually yes some of them can. They detect the amount of activity in areas of re brain and are able to see differences between normal functioning brains and brains of people with Bipolar and schizophrenia.... I don;t know about addictions or OCD, etc.. btu I do know it's possible with Bipolar and schizophrenia.
